Girls Best Friend, part of a series of 3 giclee prints measuring 59.5cm x 41cm printed on 210gsm archival paper.
Featuring creatures resting on girls shoulders... Maybe a metaphor for their ego, or emotional baggage they carry from the past? I like to let the viewer create their own narrative.
In the Summer of 2017, GBF 1 was created as a large mural in Shoredtich, London. I wanted the line quality to be exactly the same as the original ink drawing (which is tiny - approx 4 inches x 6 inches), So I projected the ink work on to the wall, and created the piece in Spraycan and brush.
The whole piece took 32 hours… luckily it didn’t rain too much.
